Trading and Operations Help

Why Trade Online?

Online investors can place trades, view their account portfolios and request funds all from the same website. When it comes to trading, time is money and a few seconds can be crucial. The Internet offers the individual investor instant access to the most up to date market data and investment research. Combined with the Internet's speed and accessibility, online investors have all the tools necessary to take their investing decisions into their own hands.

What You Can Trade?

SFG Futures offers futures and options on futures on all the U.S. demestic market and selected foreign exchange market.

What is the minimum amount required to open an account?

SFG Futures does not set minimums. However, trading futures is risky and you should not fund an account with more that you can afford to lose. Also, your account size has to be able to meet exchange minimum margin requirements for over night trades and ProEdgeOnline margins for day trading.

What happens if I lose my Internet connection while trading online?

You can always call us during market hours to check the status of your account and position as well as make a trade for you. Also, you will be given access to a 24 hour trading desk.

What are you day trading margin rates?

We have flexibility setting margins requirements for day trading. Day trading margins are set based on your experience, account size and markets traded. As an example, and experienced online trader with an account balance greater that $10,000 may receive a day trading margin of $1,250 for an E-MINI S&P500 contract.
